This little nuc box is great to have, especially during swarming season. It only takes a few minutes to construct and can fit under your car/truck seat. I keep several just for collecting swarms. They are useful too for making splits. You just need to keep them under a roof since they are cardboard. The wax coating will allow them to last some duration of the outside elements, but putting them under a roofed structure with open sides helps them to last longer.
