If you have fruit of your own that you would like to make wine from, this kit along with your wine equipment kit is all you would need. Included in this use-your-own-fruit kit is a basic instruction book with recipes, a large strainer bag, and enough of all the basic additives (yeast, yeast nutrient, acid blend, peptic enzyme, tannin, and Campden tabs) to make three 6-gallon batches of wine with extras to spare. All of these things can also be purchased separately as you require replacements, but this is a simple and easy way to cover all the bases as you get started.
