You won't believe this Bottom Board. It is UV treated, long lasting plastic with aluminum screen imbedded into it for a Varroa screen. Any type of sticky board can be set under it for mite assessment. On each side there are two legs which get the bottom board an additional 1" off the ground. Four pins secure your hive body to the Bottom Board to eliminate slipping. The Ultimate Bottom Board will not work with our Cypress Hive Stand.
One other thing I thought I would add about this bottom board--It fits perfect on top of a plastic 55 gallon barrel--cut the barrel in half or what ever you desire for ground clearance and you have two very stable hive stands from one barrel--that mice find hard to climb. I also have read concerns about warpage--I have not had any with mine--also these came with mouse proof winter entrance restricters and bee restricters if you want to reduce the entrance.

Plastic Bottom Board
I dont know where in Europe these came from--But PLEASE go get the rest of the hive componets to sell us--I bought these and the similar plastic hive top feeders from you and they BEAT ANYTHING I have seen in my 50 years around bees. Ive been using them a couple years now in below zero Illinois Winter weather and above 100 degree Summer tenps.-- and they as Tony would say -- are -- GRRRREAT !!!!!!

Ulitimate Bottom Board
During Hurricane Irene a tree fell on this hive, the hive splintered, but the bottom board and legs survived! Talk about durable!
