We highly recommend this spur embedder. The brass embedding wheel has a groove for the wire to run in holding it much more securely. On either side of the grove are small "grippers" which embed the wire much better. This is a great improvement over the Old Style Embedder ; however, it does not work well if the wire is crimped.
