These nuc feeders will revolutionize the feeding of nucs. It is the little brother of our Plastic Top Feeder with exactly the same features and performance. Long lasting, low cost, ease of filling (which won't disturb the bees) makes this a great choice.
Please Note: These feeders are made for the international market and have score lines that can be broken. Does not require a super to cover simply place top cover directly on top of feeder.
I am new to beekeeping and use this feeder. It works fine on my nuc with just the telescoping top. No drowned bees unlike my 8 frame feeder on my meds that is killing bees at an alarming rate. Wish they had one for 8 frame super.

Easy to use fill and bees love it

bomber nuc feeder
This feeder is bomber, end of story. Migratory covers work just fine, but weight them down with stones, bricks. This will take any tweak out of the feeder, and prevents robbing adequately. 1 hive in ten will have maybe a dozen floaters, but probably the fault of my covers not the feeders. Awesome job Brushy, and I will probably try the adult size also.

good nuc feeder
I bought 2 of these along with 5 of the 10 frame feeders. I ended up making frame/shims/boxes for all of them. I ripped a 1x6. For the nucs I also ripped some scrap 3/8 plywood for the ends which made it a perfect fit. I also trimmed off the side tabs. I like the capacity and profile of the feeders. I have zero robbing.

Not exactly like the 10/8 frame top feeder
I had planned to use an empty nuc body to cover the unit. The nuc is about 1/2 inch too long. Im thinking I will need to build a new longer nuc body to fit the nuc feeder.
This should be redesigned so that a nuc body will fit properly over it.

Plastic nuc feeder
Well I like mine. I have had it for a year and used it on 2 different nuks. It doesnt fit that is true but I took a skill saw to mine and made it fit. It fit the length of the nuk box from front to back I bought from brushy mountain but the flanges were to wide so I sawed them off. And its true you have trouble with the inner cover fitting with the feeder. But the bees cant go above the feeder any way so I figure why use it. So I dont use one with mine so no robbing and a good fit now. I would give it 5 stars if I hadnt had to use my skill saw on it but not a big deal. Good feeder and easy to use just pop the top and fill it up put the top back on and you are good to go for a while.
Does not fit
Purchased the plastic nuc feeder since I had good performance from a 8 frame unit. Nuc feeder looks nice, but does not fit. Top cover does not fully come down over the feeded. I had planned to use an empty nuc supper to cover the unit. The nuc is about 1/2 inch too long. I will have to build a new longer super to handler the nuc feeder. This should be redesigned so it will fit properly

I had to make shims to go over the feeder, the description says that this is the little brother to the larger feeder with exactly the same features and performances. The larger feeder says that you can place a super ontop to make a better seal, so I bought extra nuc supers to do that. But they dont fit the super is about a half inch to short to cover the feeder. The telescopic cover does cover the feeder but I wanted a better seal to reduce the chances of robbing. Steve
