This is our best value glove and offers great protection. The palms have a double layer, which adds to the ruggedness of this glove. The gauntlets are made from tightly woven cotton, are finished off with elastic and fall below the elbow for a comfortable fit. The plastic on the glove is a light coating, which makes them sting resistant, yet cool. Check out our chart to determine the size you will need: Glove Chart
These are getting harder to find, been wearing this type glove for years. The dexterity is great, the only reason i do not give them 5 stars is they wear out to soon.I personally have not been stung through them.I will buy them again.GREAT GLOVES

Great gloves !
These have worked great for me for many years.
The fit was perfect but the plastic on them is so thin that the bee stung right through them. I thought the plastic was thick as the rubber dipped work gloves...disappointing. Go with the goat skin leather instead; they work
Yes, if you pinch bees these are not sting proof, but they are great gloves because you can feel what you are doing. I can grab frames, undo straps, lots of things I cant do with leather. Dont discount the value of this, if your any good, theyre better than leather

Lots of stings, plastic coating peeled off quick

Got stung thru gloves
The gloves came with my Garden Hive kit, so I really cant complain too much, however, if a bee sits on your glove too long, you will get stung: not a full-on sting, but just enough where you feel it. Im going to purchase some heavier gloves.
