The Pail Feeder is a convenient feeder to use on the inside of your hive. Many people have used friction top cans that rust or glass jars that are cumbersome and break. The Pail Feeder is most effective by placing it over the hole in the Inner Cover. Place an empty Hive Body over it and the Telescoping Top in place. Then the hive is closed off from any outside robbers. The bees feed through the hole in the inner cover and because the inner cover is in place the heat does not escape, allowing the bees to maintain the correct temperature easily. Holds 1 gallon sugar syrup. Comes with lid.
