I have purchased several cheaper bee suits in the past from other companies and have gotten exactly what I paid for: poor craftsmanship, zippers that fail, etc. This bee suit, while not the cheapest, is extremely well made, and is highly effective in protecting against stings. Like other reviews, I agree that its best to order larger than you normally would to keep airflow circulating around your body and the suit. You wont regret this purchase!

Master Beekeeper Suit
After 40 plus years of beekeeping I have become allergenic to bee stings. Four or five stings will put me into anaphylactic shock and I have to have an epi shot soon. . So to keep on beekeeping I needed a suit that would afford me the most protection. This suit did that all right, I didn’t get one sting all last year. I have 40 hives that I go through weekly plus I raise a few queens. The only problem with the suit is that it is a little warm. After going through my bees I am totally soaked through with sweat and have problems getting the suit off. I have to call the neighbor kid up to help get out of the suit.
This year I am going with painters white bib overalls and the bee Inspectors Jacket with the zip on hat and veil. This compo should give me the same amount of protection but will be much easier to get on and off.

bee removal
I do bee removals in the Mississippi Delta one of the hottest places 100+ with 99 humidity. Its hot the suit is hot but I have learned to just wear the suit and my boxers and t shirt. I do get stung threw the suit but they are not like real stings and I normally only get stung on removals in the yard I can stand up straight and they dont get near me. I would buy big the more space you have between you and the suit the less chance of being stung and the more air flow you can make by fanning the suit. I just ordered my wife one and I ordered her the largest one its too big but you can always pull it in. Now the heat I have friends that have the golden bees and ultras but I cant see them being any cooler if I have to put on cloths then put on the suit but I guess each his own but if you call me for a removal I will show up with the suit on and very little else if not I will ask to use you bathroom.

Excellent suit!
I bought my suit two years ago and absolutely love it. It is most definitely a very well made, comfortable, and highly protective suite, I have yet to be stung while wearing it. I would highly recommend this suite to anyone shopping for one.
