Fondant makes a perfect bee food. It is soft and pliable, so it is easy to form and place in the hive and easy for the bees to consume. In the winter months it helps absorb dangerous moisture that often kills colonies. This is a high quality, food grade product. Most fondant is 80/20 (sugar to corn syrup), but this is 90/10.
Ive been using this fondant since early spring with new and old hives ,the bees love it. Great for winter bee candy . Keeps bees working, that helps motivate movement within the hive thus producing heat .
