I dont like plastic frames-- I wouldnt use only plastic-- but I like having one or two of these in every brood box. The bees and their queen seem to prefer putting brood in them, and always lay really tight, excellent patterns in them. Or maybe the pattern seems better because I can see the eggs and larva better!
Their are very few acceptance issues-- theyll draw their own comb, but they seem to prefer superframes over foundation. These are coated in wax, and with a quick spray of syrup, the bees draw them out.
