The 8-Frame Garden Hive is the only hive that we use here at Brushy Mtn. It is easier to work and we like the fact that all of our equipment is the same size. If you have back problems, if you want to simplify your operation or you just want a few hives to spruce up your garden, this is the one. The kit includes: 1- 8-Frame Copper A-line Top, 1 inner cover, 2 medium cypress garden supers, 16- grooved top bar and grooved bottom bar medium frames, 1- I.P.M. bottom board, and 1-cypress hive stand. All assembled. You will also receive 16 sheets of crimp wire foundation, which you will insert into the frames. Also; your choice of a hatless veil, or (for an additional $30.00) a clear view veil with string. You may choose your size in either plastic coated, (or for an additonal $12.00) ventilated cowhide or goatskin gloves, a hobbyist smoker w/ smoker fuel, a bee brush, a 10" hive tool, a plastic entrance feeder, a beginner's book and a Garden Hive instructional DVD. No other Substitutions please. If additional substitutions needed please order items separately.

Almost perfect | |
| This is my first hive and I found the 8-Frame Garden Hive BeeGinners Kit to be almost perfect. The only complaint that I have is that if I had to do it all over again, I would have purchased a different method for feeding the bees besides the one that comes with the kit. My bees get very angry when I add sugar syrup daily. I have purchased a pail feeder and hope that this method will be a little less invasive. | ||

Love this hive but one problem! | |
| I love this hive it is wonderfully pretty in my fruit orchard. But, I bought a Nuc hive and when I was installing the frames the bottom super was too short. The bottom super really needs to be the size for nucs to fit. | ||

| This is our 1st year beekeeping and we are very happy with the whole kit; the English garden hive looks great in the yard. I dont mind the Boardman feeder but the 2 qt is what is really needed since a new bee package eats ALOT !We ordered one and still filling it every day! I think the bees are eating very well. Also, the staff is great and will help with any questions. | ||

Still loving my hive after almost four years. | |
| We love our English Garden Hive. Not only is it functional but it is a lovely addition to our yard and garden. Our home is over 80 years old and this fits in very well with the period of the house and with fewer frames is easier for me to handle. We have several ten frame hives but they are a little heavier and more cumbersome to move and not nearly as attractive. | ||

| Its functional and pretty. My only complaint is that plastic feeder. You cant refill it in place, so you have to pull it out every time and the bees get in the way of putting it back. We are finding that we need to refill it every day, so this feeder is really not ideal. Id recommend discontinuing the sale of it. | ||
