This Escape Screen works just like a bee escape except faster and better. We have experimented with all styles of bee escapes and escape boards and screens. This is the best we have ever used. The triangle covered with Galvanized Hardware Cloth faces down toward the bottom board. The bees exit through a pair of triangles and they cannot figure out how to get back in. There are no moving parts to fail here. As with the bee escape, should there be any way for robbers to enter the supers you are taking off they will rob the honey out and you can lose your honey.
